Environmentally Friendly Refrigerant
The Environmental friendliness of Refrigerants is assessed using the ‘GWP’. The ‘Global Warming Potential’ (GWP) is a unit of Measurement that describes how much a defined amount of a certain Greenhouse gas contributes to Global Warming Compared to the same amount of carbon dioxide. For example, a GWP of 2100 means that the gas in question contributes 2100 times more to Global Warming than the same amount of carbon dioxide. Decarbonize Heat Pumps use R290 with a GWP of 3 - and are therefore many times more Environmentally Friendly than the conventional Refrigerants used by Competitors, such as R410a with a GWP of 2100 or R32 with a GWP of 675. This fact not only protects Your conscience, but also makes Your Heat Pump Future-Proof - R290 is PFAS-Free and, unlike the Refrigerants mentioned above, will be available on the market for a long time to come.
